Manufacturing in Sparrow ERP

Sparrow has a robust manufacturing module which is seamlessly integrated with other modules of the ERP. In-built features are designed in a way that it more or less fits any manufacturing process however, we have some special in-built features for Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) customers.

If you have an existing online e-commerce platform or ordering system, then Sparrow’s APIs can easily integrate with that. Manufacturing Orders (MO) can be created manually or automatically based on custom logic. Bill of Materials (BoM) and Component Placement List (CPL) can be automatically or manually imported in the system and linked with MO. The system can easily distinguish between parts that are to be sourced, supplied by the customer, not-placed, etc.

How Procurement is Simplified

Procurement is one of the most important aspects of either manufacturing or trading company; industry such as Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) has paramount importance of sourcing of components. Keeping this in mind, we have designed purchasing functionalities to make the process as transparent as possible.

Quotation comparison is important before confirming PO for the supplier. In Sparrow, we have provided a very intuitive interface to compare multiple PO for similar products from different suppliers. There are in-built algorithm that automatically selects suppliers based on price, MoQ, etc.

For EMS companies we have a special module that automatically fetches prices from different supplier’s websites and presents them in a useful way to estimate BoM prices.
